Easy French Toast

Easy French Toast For Two

Things you'll need:
3 Slices of day old bread, 1 Egg, Pinch of salt, 1/2 Cup of milk, 1/4 Teaspoon of sugar, 3/4 cinnamon (divided), Tablespoon of oil, 1/8 Cup of powdered sugar, Syrup, Butter.

  1. Combine milk, sugar, egg, 1/2 tsp cinnamon, and salt and mix until blended. Heat skillet on medium heat.
  2. Dip bread in milk/egg mixture long enough to soak through. ( tip: take bread out the night before so the bread can dry out so it won't fall apart during this step.)
  3. Put your oil in the hot skillet, now place the sliced bread one at a time and fry until golden brown on both sides.
  4. Remove from pan and roll in confectioners' sugar mixed with the remaining cinnamon.
  5. Serve with syrup and butter. Enjoy!
